About

Project Simple Shelter (PSS) is a not-for-profit charity founded by Joshua Bradford, a two-time Grammy-nominated musician, writer, editor, film scorer, and filmmaker. Joshua created PSS with a simple belief: music has the power to heal, connect, and inspire hope.Our mission is to bring the gift of music to underserved communities where access to creative outlets is often limited. Through PSS workshops, Joshua introduces children and young adults to musical instruments and guides them in the process of writing and creating an original song together.Each project culminates in the production of a professionally edited music video featuring the participants as they craft and perform their song. Finally, the group gathers to watch the video—an unforgettable moment where they see themselves succeed, shine, and share their voices with the world.More than just a creative exercise, Project Simple Shelter is about giving the confidence to use music as a lifelong tool of self-expression, healing, and empowerment.
